Thanksgiving: The things I'm grateful for

This year I'm grateful for having my 13 year dog named Yankee, and my school that I'm in. In foreign countries they that don't have education or a place to learn and laugh, so I'm grateful for that. I'm also very grateful for my dog to have around when I need a laugh. He does at some times get on my nerves and makes me want to spank him. But I love him and glad he's around in my life. I heard that people want more in their lives and should get what they want. But, people around the world live in poverty and unwealthy communities. So people should be grateful to have a roof and family that cares for them. Thanksgiving is a time for family to come together and have a gratitude to one another. Anyway, I also love the food that my family severs at the table. Mac and cheese, pasta, turkey, meat loaf, apple or pumpkin pie etc. And Thanksgiving is in the fall time were it's nice, decent, cool weather. So if your family is in the house you could hang out with your consins or siblings. But, Thanksgiving is time for enjoyment, gathering around family members and loving. But anyway hope you have and really excellent time with your family!

The Election: My thoughts

I feel like this election was a morbid and dreadful time. I'm confused why the people chose Trump, and they know that this country will be tear apart or down in flames. They don't know what Trump is capable of doing to our country. When I heard Trump won I was devastated and disappointed. My parents were crying because of this man's being in office and probably controlling everyone. I don't know yet what Trump might do or has in plan right now. But, I do know that he will not change this country's ways and diverse cultural. When I saw all those states in red I thought it as blood scorching red. In my mind I was like "no, no, NOOOOOO!!!!!" I can't belive these people be so happy as this man will ruin what we live in. Probably, people were crying when Trump got elected. And I think Hillary was outraged and disappointed when she heard the horrible news. I saw her giving the speech and her expression was calling for a savor. She was depressed and didn't want to come to realize that trump won. But, she talked that we that Trump is our president. And we have to follow our democracy and participate. But, that's all I want to say. Hope our country's stands, But Trump is not a savor nor hero...

Pipe Elementary school starting to close due to financial issues: Final draft

In Berwyn IL in the city of Chicago. A school named "Piper Elementary" People are stating that they will condemn the school because of financial problems! What will happen to the school? How do the people feel about this situation? Why is the school budget so low? Who is going too help this school out? When is this problem be resolve? Where is the money going to? Many of the answers are people asking what is going to happen to this school?

Officials said when the state of IL was cutting the district dipped into it's saving. Now that the money is roughly gone. The district has been left with 2 million dollars. Here is one parent feelings on this predicament. "I believe it's up to Speaker Madigan, President Cullerton, Governor Rauner to get off their butts and pass a budget," said Matt Cummings. Another parent also says "If you don't have quality schools, you don't have a quality community. And if you don't have a quality community, how can you possibly flourish," said Macey Morales.

Administrators discuss with parents Thursday of how it will impact there children. Administrators also said that 47% of the district funding is coming from the state. The state reduced the funding by 13% the district had no other spot but to turn to it's savings. Now the district funds are barely gone. According to Robert Pauly, Berwyn South School District 100 board president. He said "These kids get the least of any children in the state of Illinois. You go to Hinsdale, those children are already receiving 25 percent more than our children," Pauly said.

The staff at Piper are going to deal with this issue Wednesday at a school board meeting. The district has already saved approximately $2.1 million to see if the school can still be sentiment. But, 300 hundreds students at Piper will have to find a current school around their neighborhood. This is a murky time for this school and will might not be the brightest time for this school either. Parents concerns, teachers worrying, children hoping to have this school still stand aside them. The outcome of this school might be the last of these schools days.

The best day ever

One of my best's day ever was when I went to Six Flags with my cousins. It was a scorching summer day and I was sweating. There were so many rides, that the ride I want to ride most was the "American eagle." I wanted to be on that ride so I can cool off but, it was on the opposite side of the park. My cousins wanted to go on "Batman the ride." So we went on the ride. It was dim and gloomy in this square like building. At first I thought I was going to get a spook of my life. When I went on and rode it through each section it wasn't that frightening. There were a few up and downs. It felt like my organs were jumping up and down. When I left the ride I felt fantastic and worn out. After that I went on some ordinary, typically rides like rides that rotate, flip over, and move sideways. After, I went on the smaller attractions. There was this stretch out line that look like it ran for miles. We waited there for 30 mins which wasn't that long because I mostly talk to my cousins. Finally it was our turn to ride the "American eagle." When I went on that ride. It felt like I was going to die. As the machine evaluated to the top. I saw the distance of the whole park and highways as the cars go by. As the machine was about to descend to my doom. It actually felt enjoyable and as I got down to the rail it felt a big relief. As I came to the end of the ride I wanted to go ride it again, but It will be another 30mins. But anyway, that's a brief summary at my day at Six Flags. Hope you like it bye! ;)
